Firstly I am absolutely in love with my job.
Well actually, really, its not a job, its a life choice! Capturing and creating memories for my clients completely fills my bucket with joy and I just can not get enough of it.

I feel like my clients are my friends. I am invested in you and your family and want to make magic with and for you.

I want everyone to feel comfortable with me. Like old friends catching up for a laugh. I have three of my own kids and know exactly how stressful it can be to mother little humans. I am so used to tantrums and tears. It doesn’t worry me at all if we are having a little moment and need a break. I want you to be yourself and know I am here to support and guide you through your experience.

Locations

I have a list of tried and tested locations across the Northern Beaches along with a few in the city.
Once you have booked in with me I will send you examples of each spot and help support you in choosing your perfect location.

The locations I choose are generally quite quiet. I don’t want to take you somewhere that will be crowded with people and take away from the connection between you and your family.

I am also open to trying new locations as long as they suit my style and are well suited with lighting.

The studio location is in Allambie Heights on the Northern Beaches. Address available once booked in.

Styling

I am in the process of developing my own client wardrobe. I want to create ease for my Mums and their kiddies.
At this stage it is only small though so I am very happy to be across all of the clothing and styling decisions for your session.

A Little note

A lot of clients express to me their nerves about their kiddies not behaving. I just want to take this opportunity to tell you that it is absolutely fine for them to have their moments. They are little humans with big emotions and lets be honest, standing in front of a camera and smiling is going to be pretty boring for them.
There is plenty of time and chances for you to step to the side and have a bit of a break. But also I wanted to say, embrace these little moments too. These real moments between you, your partner and kids is what makes your family unique. These snuggles create emotion and connection in your images.
I want you to be 100% present with your kids. Play with them, tickle them, whisper those jokes and stories into their ears. Snuggle them, kiss them. Only YOU can make their little faces light up with love.
If it is chaotic, only you can accept and embrace when they get dirty or run straight to the water when your session begins.
Yes the outfits matter, yes the hair matters, yes the cleanliness matters. You see it’s fine to think about the details, they do help. But in the end nothing is more important than the physical connection you share with your family.
Don’t think of it as a photo shoot... think of it as an experience.
Come with zero expectations.... and trust that even if it feels chaotic, I will find the beauty in it... whatever happens. All you have to do is show up open and trust me.
Leave rules and expectations behind. Just allow yourself to be a big kid with your kids. If they sulk, pick them up and snuggle. If they run, run with them. If they talk your ear off, listen. If you can do that, I can promise you memories to last a lifetime.

Pricing

Session fee is $266.
This is the price for our photography session only and is due in full upon booking. This price does not include digital images and is for the session only.
Please note there are two maternity session styles available to book. Regular (outdoor) and studio. Please make sure you select the right session type below when booking as the availability is very different for each one.

Digital packages are available to choose from once you have viewed your proof images. A professional collection will be emailed to you after your session.
